Medicare Advantage Plan
This is also known as Medicare Part C and is a type of plan provided by a private insurance company. In one of these plans, you are covered for hospital and doctors’ care, and an increasing number of Medicare Advantage Plans include Part D prescription drug coverage. You cannot enroll in a Medicare Advantage Plan unless you already have Parts A and B. If you purchase this plan, you need to pay your Part B premiums along with the premiums associated with Part C.
