Maximum Out-of-Pocket Limit

This yearly limit is set by Medicare Advantage Plans to ensure a cap is placed on how much you spend on out-of-pocket expenses for medical services each year. Once you hit this cap, you won’t have to pay anything for covered services. It’s important to note that the amount of the limit could change year to year and could also be different between different plans.

Once Christopher reached his maximum out-of-pocket limit, he was relieved that he wouldn’t have to pay for any additional covered medical expenses for the remainder of the year.
